The Ancient Egyptians often called Egypt "Ta Mery" ("beloved land"). They owed the fertility of the land to the river Nile and the innundation was seen as a gift from the gods.

The Tamery necklace is composed of either Lapis Lazuli, Malachite or Black Onyx graduated beads and sterling silver beads. The Malachite necklace represents the fertility and abundance of the Nile while the Lapis Lazuli necklace represents both the blue of the night sky and the river Nile itself and the Black Onyx represents the fertile black soil left by the innundation. All of our collars are packed in pretty black boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard with out logo printed in gold using biodegradable inks.
