The Netjert ("Goddess") Necklace combines a Sterling Silver Predynastic Goddess Pendant with sterling silver wire and Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Turquoise, Black Onyx, Carnelian, Amethyst or Red Jasper beads.
The image of the goddess with her arms raised relates to the goddesses Hathor, Isis and Bat. The image was popular in pre-dynastic Egypt, and the "rasied arms" may also echo the cows horns associated with each goddess in later times. Malachite and Lapis were both closely associated with Hathor and Red Jasper and Carnelian more often associated with Isis.
